KARACHI: The Karachi Grammar School (KGS) was honoured with the best international delegation award at the Harvard Model United Nations (MUN) 2016 organised in Boston.

The KGS team stood winner among 3,000 delegates representing more than 199 countries participating to debate global issues.

The KGS delegation included Zarak Quraishi, Uzair Saqib, Zainab Saeed, Taimur Ahmed Mian, Ghasharib Shoukat, Suroor Rahimtoola, Nasha Kanga, Laleh Ahmed, Rahul Bherwani, Channan Hanif, Riva Effendi, Hakim Faiz, Shahzel Najam and Leila Khan.

The 63rd session of Harvard Model United Nations was held from January 28 to Sunday January 31 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel.

Other schools from Pakistan who took part included Roots Millennium from Islamabad and Lyceum, Aitchison College . Lyceum’s eight-member team bagged the best small delegation award.
