Our client RMT Enterprise is looking for a Academic and Career Counselor in Karachi, Lahore

Established in 1985, RMT Enterprise is one of Pakistan's pioneering education consultancies, helping students pursue higher education opportunities at leading universities in Australia, Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

We are seeking motivated, professional, and career-oriented individuals to join our team as Student Counsellors at our Karachi and Lahore offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized counseling to students regarding academic choices, career options, and personal development.
• Conduct academic and career assessments to identify students strengths, interests, and areas for improvement.
• Assist students in setting realistic educational and career goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them.
• Offer guidance on course selection, career pathways, and transitions between academic programs.
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions, assessments, and progress in compliance with institutional policies.
• Coordinate with faculty, administration, and external resources to support student development and wellbeing.
• Manage multiple student cases simultaneously, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups to inquiries and applications.
• Prepare and deliver presentations or workshops on academic planning, career readiness, and related topics.
• Monitor trends in education and employment to provide up-to-date advice and counseling services.
• Facilitate referrals to other professional services when needed, including mental health support and external organizations.
• Develop and maintain a supportive environment that encourages open communication and trust with students.
• Engage in continuous professional development to enhance counseling techniques and knowledge of student services.
• Ensure confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all counseling activities.
