About The Role
Scents N Stories is looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Executive to join our Accounts team. If you have a strong grasp of accounting principles, love working with numbers, and have experience in e-commerce or retail finance, we’d love to meet you. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, growing environment where your skills will directly support business operations across online platforms, retail outlets, and payment gateways.
Key Responsibilities
- ICMA part Qualified, Bachelors in Commerce/Accounting, MBA
- 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in an e-commerce or retail setup.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong MS Excel skills, VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.
- Ability to work with large datasets and reconcile complex transactions.
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and organized.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms: Shopify, WooCommerce, Daraz seller center, etc.
- COD reconciliation knowledge.
- Working knowledge of bank/payment gateway settlements.

Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile sales from online marketplaces, e.g., Daraz, Shopify, and own website.
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in ERP/accounting software.
- Track cash inflows from payment gateways,
- Prepare and verify invoices, sales reports, and payment settlements.
- Reconcile COD partner statements from 3PL
- Maintain proper vendor ledgers and record expense invoices on time.
- Monitor bank transactions and perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Process supplier payments and employee reimbursements.
- Assist in monthly closing, journal entries, and adjustment postings.
- Support audit and compliance documentation.
