Our client SAHIBA'S BY MIRZA is looking for a Accountant (Odoo ERP) - Garments Manufacturing in Lahore

The Accountant will play a key role in managing financial records, preparing month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring accurate cost tracking for raw materials, production, and inventory. Coordination with production, dispatch, and sales teams is crucial to maintain accurate costing. The candidate will assist in tax filings, support external auditors, and help maintain organized and audit-ready financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to contribute to a leading apparel manufacturer while honing skills in ERP systems and financial management within the garments sector. Minimum education: ACCA (Finalist), B.Com, BBA, M.Com, or MBA in Finance or Accounting. This is an immediate requirement, on-site only, for candidates based in Lahore.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping, including journal entries and ledger postings using Odoo ERP software.
• Manage processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including vendor invoices and staff reimbursements.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor the organization's cash position to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities, including accruals, provisions, and stock valuation.
• Prepare financial reports and Management Information System (MIS) summaries to assist management decision-making.
• Track and report raw material, production, and inventory costs in coordination with production, dispatch, and sales departments.
• Assist with timely and accurate sales tax and withholding tax filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Support external audits by providing required documentation and maintaining audit-ready records in an organized manner.
• Utilize MS Excel for financial data analysis, reporting, and workbook management.
• Communicate effectively in both English and Urdu to facilitate clear financial reporting and departmental coordination.
• Ensure all financial documentation and processes comply with company policies and relevant financial regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance costing accuracy and financial controls within the factory operations.
