NATIVIA GLOBAL (PRIVATE) LIMITED, a UK-based company, is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join its office in Lahore.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, focusing on bookkeeping, VAT records, bank reconciliation, and familiarity with UK accounting standards. This role requires strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks and Excel.

The Accountant will work according to UK office hours and support the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This position does not involve managing a team but requires the candidate to work independently and efficiently to maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial statements.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in budgeting, forecasting, and the overall financial health of the company by applying their expertise and attention to detail in daily accounting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records in line with company policies and UK accounting standards.
• Prepare and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including posting journal entries and maintaining ledger integrity.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash and bank balances.
• Manage VAT records and prepare VAT returns in compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
• Utilize QuickBooks and other accounting software proficiently to record financial transactions and generate reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities by collecting and analyzing financial data.
• Generate financial reports to assist management in decision-making and ensure transparency of financial operations.
• Collaborate with auditors during periodic audits by providing requested financial information and documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical accounting standards.
• Use Excel to organize financial data, create spreadsheets, and perform data analysis to support accounting activities.
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting practices and reporting standards while adapting processes to the company’s policies.
