Our client Mellori is looking for a Accounting and Finance Manager - FMCG in Karachi
After 30 years as a trusted goods trading house, Ahura is launching its first consumer brand: Mellori — a premium spread, Turkish origin, in three flavours (hazelnut, cookies & cream, and a rotating trend-led flavour).
Mellori is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting and Finance professional with 5 to 7 years of experience in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. The ideal candidate possesses strong proficiency in budgeting and forecasting, accounting software, compliance, tax preparation, and auditing. This role requires a part-qualified CA, ACCA, ICMA, or MBA Finance with hands-on expertise in QuickBooks and Peachtree software and advanced Excel capabilities. The candidate should demonstrate sharp attention to detail and act with high integrity in all financial and administrative processes. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting Mellori’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and assisting in financial planning and reporting. You will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records and contributing to strategic business decisions by analyzing financial data. This role does not include team management Responsibilities
but requires coordination across departments to meet financial goals and statutory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, budgets, and forecasts that align with company objectives.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws including tax preparation and planning activities.
- Conduct internal audits and liaise with external auditors to maintain sound financial controls.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Peachtree efficiently for general ledger entries and financial reporting.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, financial risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue enhancement.
- Maintain organized documentation for all financial transactions to support audit requirements and management reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budget formulation and financial planning.
- Implement and monitor financial policies and procedures to improve fiscal management and accountability.
- Provide detailed reports on financial performance to senior management to assist in strategic decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial information and uphold ethical standards in all finance-related activities.
