Accounting Manager - (Canadian Taxes)

Bestax is a leading accounting, tax, audit, and business setup firm serving businesses across the UAE, Canada, and beyond.
We are looking for an Accounting Manager/Senior Accountant to manage Canadian corporate and personal tax filings (T2/T1), GST/HST, payroll taxes, and basic tax planning. The role involves reviewing financial records, maintaining bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, and handling tax notices. Candidates should have strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and CaseWare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file corporate (T2) and personal (T1) tax returns.
  
• Assist with GST/HST filings, payroll taxes, and other routine submissions.
  
• Support basic tax planning to help reduce tax liabilities.
  
• Stay updated with Canadian tax rules and regulations.
  
• Review financial data to ensure accurate tax calculations.
  
• Handle basic tax notices and communicate with authorities when needed.
  
• Use accounting software like QuickBooks, Xero, and CaseWare.
  
• Maintain bookkeeping records and prepare financial reports.
  
• Coordinate with the team to complete tasks on time.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  
• ACCA Affiliate/Part-Qualified
  
• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Canadian taxation & accounting
  
• Strong knowledge of Canadian tax laws, CRA regulations, and compliance
  
• Experience with T1, T2, GST/HST, and payroll tax filings
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, CaseWare, TaxCycle, or similar software
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills
  
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
  
• Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal)
  
• Strong leadership and coordination skills, with the ability to supervise team members and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
