H&S Logiq is seeking a skilled Accounts & HR Manager to oversee the organization’s financial and human resource functions. This role requires a professional with at least five years of experience to manage comprehensive accounting operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, financial reporting, budgeting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel capabilities, allowing for report customization, cash flow forecasting, and detailed profitability analysis. Additionally, the candidate will handle tax return preparation, trade banking activities such as letters of credit and bank guarantees, and audit documentation. This position demands strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders and ensure accurate and timely financial operations. As the Accounts & HR Manager, you will lead and mentor a team of five individuals, ensuring smooth HR and accounting processes. This includes managing recruitment and onboarding, payroll administration, compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, and maintaining employee records using HRIS systems. The role entails supervising accounting work, resolving financial discrepancies, and maintaining tight financial controls. Your ability to organize month-end close processes, manage intra-company ledgers, and coordinate bank reconciliations will contribute significantly to the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle financial accounting and bookkeeping to maintain accurate records.
• Oversee payroll management ensuring compliance with wage and tax regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
• Customize reports and optimize processes within QuickBooks Online and ERP financial systems.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and profitability reports.
• Supervise a team in accounting and human resources functions, providing guidance and training.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and maintain employee records using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
• Manage accounts payable and receivable ensuring timely invoice processing and approval workflows.
• Handle bank reconciliation, cash application, and automated transaction matching to ensure accurate financial records.
• Maintain general ledger accounting and ensure accurate month-end close and record-to-report workflow management.
• Ensure full tax and statutory compliance including tax return preparation and filing.
• Facilitate audit preparation and documentation by organizing financial records and supporting materials.
• Monitor trade banking activities such as letters of credit (LCs) and bank guarantees to support company operations.
• Implement financial controls and resolve discrepancies promptly to maintain data integrity.
• Communicate effectively in English across different departments and external partners to support organizational goals.
