Recruit AI seeks a detail-oriented Payment & Merchant Operations Specialist to join our FinTech division working onsite during US shifts. This role focuses on managing merchant account maintenance tasks within a high-volume environment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures. The specialist efficiently handles account updates, data processing, and collaborates with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Underwriting, and Sales to maintain data integrity and support operational processes. The position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with Excel and internal systems, and the ability to follow rigorous processes while maintaining confidentiality. This role suits a dedicated professional with approximately five years of relevant experience who thrives in a process-driven setting, excels at managing large datasets, and has a keen eye for detail. While there is no team management responsibility, this position demands strong individual accountability and effective communication skills, including the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Industry experience in merchant services or credit card processing is beneficial but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume merchant account maintenance requests, updating business details, account settings, and other relevant data accurately and efficiently.

• Manage merchant fee and pricing information updates following prescribed guidelines, ensuring financial data consistency.

• Assist in account audits and data reviews to identify and rectify discrepancies or missing information.

• Execute large-scale account updates utilizing advanced Excel functions, internal tools, and templates to streamline maintenance activities.

• Conduct thorough reviews of data before and after modifications to maintain a high level of accuracy.

• Use scripts and specialized templates to facilitate mass account updates and routine maintenance tasks.

• Research account information proactively to resolve discrepancies and support continuous data quality improvement.

• Collaborate with internal departments including Account Maintenance, Finance, Underwriting, and Sales to address and fulfill account-related requests effectively.

• Participate in special projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and accuracy.

• Adhere strictly to established procedures and uphold confidentiality standards when handling sensitive merchant account information.

• Continually develop expertise in systems and software relevant to account maintenance to improve task execution.

• Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing to ensure proper documentation and facilitate teamwork.
