Our client Diara Couture is looking for a Accounts Payable Specialist in Lahore

Diara Couture is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Payable Officer with at least three years of experience to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors and suppliers. This role requires meticulous attention to financial records and the ability to reconcile accounts efficiently without managing a team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience handling invoice processing, payment schedules, and maintaining strong vendor relationships to support the companys financial health.

In this role, the Account Payable Officer will collaborate closely with other departments to verify expenses and resolve payment discrepancies. You will monitor and record payment transactions and maintain up-to-date documentation to comply with company policies and financial regulations. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in account reconciliation will be instrumental in performing your duties effectively and supporting the continuous accuracy of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Process and verify invoices and payment requests to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Perform account reconciliation by matching statements with purchase orders and invoices to resolve discrepancies.
• Schedule payments and ensure timely processing to vendors and suppliers to maintain positive vendor relationships.
• Maintain detailed and organized records of all transactions for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Monitor accounts payable aging reports and follow up on outstanding invoices to maintain accurate accounts.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues and discrepancies quickly.
• Prepare reports related to accounts payable status and financial obligations to support management decisions.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with financial and tax regulations and company policies related to payments.
• Support continuous improvement of accounts payable processes and suggest best practices for efficiency.
