Our team uses cloud-based platforms and proven processes to deliver accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping, financial reporting, controller-level services and payroll administration.

Read Before Applying

• This role is on-site in Lahore. It is not remote and not part-time.
• Working hours follow North American Eastern Time: 6:00 pm to 2:00 am PKT during North American daylight saving time (March to November), and 7:00 pm to 3:00 am PKT for the rest of the year.
• We follow the Canadian statutory holiday calendar.
• An assessment is a required part of the selection process.

Responsibilities

The role is primarily focused on accounts receivable and accounts payable for our North American clients. Responsibilities vary by client and may extend to wider bookkeeping and accounting support.

• Prepare and issue customer invoices, record customer payments and follow up on overdue balances
• Review vendor bills for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment
• Enter and code invoices, bills and general ledger transactions accurately
• Compile and organize data provided by clients, such as invoices, receipts and bank statements
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and maintain receivable and payable aging
• Support client onboarding for assigned engagements in accordance with our defined process
• Assist in streamlining and improving receivable and payable processes
• Exercise integrity and confidentiality by adhering to internal controls
• Coordinate with North American colleagues and other business lines as necessary
• Provide exceptional accounting and operational service to our clients
  
  

Qualifications

• ACCA student, affiliate or member. Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business or a related field are also considered
• Sound understanding of the basic principles of finance, accounting and bookkeeping
• Superb time management and attention to detail
• Prior use of accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or Xero (preferred)
• Strong written and spoken English. Both are tested during the selection process.
