AI Animation Associate

Role Overview:

The AI Animation Associate transforms Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) and curriculum concepts into finished, engaging, broadcast-ready 2D animated episodes and instructional videos for Chiragh Taleem 2.0. This role bridges traditional 2D animation fundamentals with generative AI pipelines to execute end-to-end narrative content—from storyline and script to voiceover, storyboard, and final motion.

• Location: Karachi (IBA City Campus / KSBL)
• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Compensation: PKR 60,000 gross during 3-month probation; PKR 80,000 gross upon permanent confirmation

Candidate Qualifications & Competencies

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communication Design, Animation, Media Sciences, or Fine Arts from an accredited institution (IVS, KU Visual Studies, NCA, Iqra University, IoBM, SZABIST, KSA, or equivalent).
• Academic Coursework Requirement: Must have completed at least two dedicated university-level courses in 2D animation, covering the complete pipeline from storyline development to final animated output.
• Experience: 6 months to 1 year of practical experience in 2D animation, digital illustration, and storyboarding.
• Required Technical & Software Stack:
• Generative AI Platforms: Gemini, Google Vids, ElevenLabs.
• Design & Animation Suite: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate.
• Core Principles: Strong foundation in classic 2D animation fundamentals (timing, staging, easing, anticipation, lip-sync, and character staging).

Core Responsibilities1. Pre-Production & Narrative Development (35% Workload)

• Scriptwriting & Storyline: Convert approved Student Learning Outcomes (SLOs) received from the Academic Lead into age-appropriate, engaging story outlines and video scripts for early learners (K–5).
• Voiceover (VO) Production: Generate and fine-tune character and instructional voiceovers using ElevenLabs, ensuring natural phonetic delivery, emotional tone, and exact timing.
• Storyboarding & Concept Visualization: Develop detailed shot-by-shot storyboards and animatics using established Chiraghverse character designs, environments, and visual brand assets.

2. AI-Assisted Animation & Scene Assembly (45% Workload)

• Visual Asset Preparation: Prepare, clean, and layer character illustrations and environment backgrounds using Adobe Illustrator and Gemini asset pipelines.
• Motion & Compositing: Animate and composite complete scenes using Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, and Google Vids, blending generative AI efficiency with traditional 2D motion pacing.
• Visual Consistency: Maintain strict character proportions, clothing details, color palettes, and stylistic continuity across all animated assets and episodes.

3. Pipeline Delivery & Asset Architecture (20% Workload)

• Internal Reviews: Submit animatics, rough cuts, and final renders to the Senior EdTech Product Specialist for scheduled milestone reviews.
• Asset Organization: Maintain structured, standardized Google Drive archives of all project files, vector rigs, sound effects, voice tracks, and master exports.
