Aircraft Technician - Lahore

Job Purpose

At Emirates, safety, engineering excellence and operational reliability are at the heart of everything we do. As part of our continued commitment to maintaining the highest standards of aircraft safety and airworthiness, we are looking for a skilled Aircraft Technician to join our team in Lahore.

The Aircraft Technician will carry out aircraft, engine and component servicing, maintenance and approved repairs on Emirates and third-party aircraft, in accordance with approved procedures, manufacturer requirements and applicable regulations. Working under the guidance of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer (LAE), the role will support defect rectification, component replacement, inspections and maintenance activities while contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the fleet.

The role involves carrying out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, servicing and component replacement; interpreting and working with approved technical documentation including AMMs, IPCs and CMMs; assisting LAEs with aircraft walk-around inspections, troubleshooting, defect rectification and modifications; completing assigned job cards and ensuring accurate shift handovers. The role also requires a strong focus on safety, FOD prevention, housekeeping and compliance with airport safety and driving regulations. The successful candidate will be expected to respond promptly to assigned tasks to minimise aircraft ground time and operational disruption.

Qualification

Candidates should have an Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training from a reputable airline or approved aircraft maintenance organisation. Candidates holding an Aircraft Maintenance Licence with relevant experience will also be considered. Strong technical knowledge, a safety-focused mindset, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential. The role involves working in a safety-sensitive environment, including exposure to aircraft systems, hazardous energy, noise, heat, pressurised substances, heavy lifting and working at height. An Airport Driving Permit is also required.
