As the Airport Services Manager, you will provide overall leadership of Emirates' airport operations, ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, customer service, and operational performance. Working closely with airport authorities, ground handling partners, government agencies, and internal stakeholders, you will drive service excellence, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and business performance across the station.
You will also play a key role in developing people, strengthening stakeholder relationships, managing operational disruptions, and ensuring Emirates continues to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
In This Role, You Will
We're looking for a seasoned aviation professional with a bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) and a minimum of 8 years' experience in airport passenger handling or airport operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership role. Advanced qualifications in Passenger Services, Ground Operations, Reservations & Ticketing, Baggage Services, or Weight & Balance will be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of airport operations, flight planning, and operational procedures, along with experience working with reservation and baggage systems and Microsoft Office applications. You should possess excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills in English are essential, while proficiency in the local language is an advantage. Flexibility to support a 24/7 operational environment, including emergency call-outs when required, is expected.

In This Role, You Will
- Lead and oversee all airport operations, ensuring compliance with Emirates' operational, safety, security, and customer service standards.
- Drive operational excellence by achieving key performance indicators, including on-time performance, service level agreements, baggage handling, and customer satisfaction.
- Build strong partnerships with airport authorities, ground handling agents, government departments, and other operational stakeholders to deliver seamless operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop airport teams while fostering a high-performance, customer-centric culture.
- Ensure effective management of disruptions, delays, diversions, emergency response, and business continuity planning.
- Monitor operational performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement initiatives that enhance productivity, service quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
- Manage station budgets, operating expenses, and capital expenditure while ensuring value-driven resource utilisation.
- Oversee administrative responsibilities including operational reporting, performance management, complaint resolution, baggage claims, invoice verification, and service recovery.
- Maintain station emergency response plans, conduct training and readiness exercises, and ensure compliance with corporate emergency planning requirements.
- Represent Emirates at industry forums, airport operational committees, and government stakeholder meetings.
