Job Purpose
To design, develop and maintain SAP applications using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), and collaborate with functional teams to optimise utilisation of SAP system/applications.
Principal Responsibilities
Education: Graduate
Experience: 4-6 years relevant experience preferred.

Job Purpose
To design, develop and maintain SAP applications using Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP), and collaborate with functional teams to optimise utilisation of SAP system/applications.
Principal Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain robust and efficient ABAP code for SAP modules
- Develop comprehensive blueprints and provide projections for the coding, system validation, and deployment stages to the Head of ERP
- Convert NFL’s business process needs into technical program specifications, verify, and code programs accordingly
- Craft, annotate, and develop unit tests, system integrations, and acceptance tests for intricate functionalities
- Optimise SAP applications using standard ABAP, Object-Orientated (OO) ABAP, and other SAP specific programming languages
- Collaborate with the ERP team in the creation and delivery of software solutions
- Monitor technical framework by ensuring scalability, accessibility, and data retention aligns with service level agreements (SLAs)
- Optimise ABAP code and system performance across multiple functionalities
- Troubleshoot and resolve any ABAP SAP-related issues raised by internal stakeholders in a timely manner
- Provide support during maintenance upgrades when the SAP system is being upgraded
- Ensure all ABAP developments adhere to NFL’s security guidelines and best practices
- Update and maintain documentation of coding and development processes to aid in future referencing and troubleshooting
- Keep abreast of the latest developments and best practices in ABAP and SAP technologies, make recommendations and implement approved new technologies to enhance system capability.
