Area Sales Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to drive growth and market share within the South region for our Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) portfolio. This is a permanent, onsite position based in Karachi, offering a significant opportunity to lead and expand our sales operations in a key territory. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
• Manage and nurture key accounts, building strong relationships with distributors and retailers to ensure optimal product placement and availability.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to identify opportunities and threats, and adapt sales approaches accordingly.
• Conduct regular sales forecasting and reporting, providing accurate insights into performance and future projections.
• Oversee and optimize the performance of distribution channels to ensure efficient product delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to stakeholders, highlighting product value propositions and sales strategies.
• Lead and motivate a sales team (if applicable or envisioned) to achieve individual and team objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in FMCG sales, with a strong understanding of the Pakistani market.
• Proven expertise in Sales Management, including strategy development and execution.
• Demonstrated success in Territory Management, with a focus on expanding market reach and penetration.
• Strong experience in Key Account Management, building and maintaining robust customer relationships.
• Proficiency in Sales Forecasting and detailed Sales Reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of various Distribution Channels within the FMCG sector.
• Excellent Presentation Skills, with the ability to effectively communicate sales strategies and proposals.
