Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Procurement to support the Bank’s procurement function through efficient sourcing, vendor management, and purchasing activities. The role is responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies, governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities.
- Process purchase requisitions, RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and related procurement documentation.
- Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate vendor proposals and quotations to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
- Conduct commercial evaluations, cost analyses, and comparative assessments to support procurement decisions.
- Coordinate vendor selection, onboarding, and performance management activities.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, service levels, and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, agreements, and procurement records.
- Monitor procurement requests and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain procurement MIS, dashboards, spend analysis reports, and key performance metrics.
- Coordinate with business units to understand procurement requirements and provide sourcing support.
- Support vendor due diligence, third-party risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reviews.
- Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and procurement automation.
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management, or Supply Chain functions.
- Experience within banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated industries will be preferred.
- Exposure to procurement of technology, operational, and professional services is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
