Assistant Manager System Admin

PURPOSE

Perform maintenance activities for upkeep of Oracle database, Source Database (SDB), monitor performance tuning and database sizing. Create Management Information System (MIS) reports as per requirement and monitor availability of Source Databases & Historical Information System (HIS) database WITH the objective of smooth and proper functioning of Database System WITHIN the limits of established company policies and procedures, departmental strategy and Security Governance Policies and framework.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Database Management

• Perform Logical database structure maintenance
• Perform database logs verification at sites
• Perform verification of database backups

Oracle Forms & Report Management

• Perform daily health check of reports-library
• Perform daily health check of programmable scripts
• Facilitate in the development of customized forms and reports

Performance Monitoring of Historian

• Perform daily synchronization check between databases.
• Perform health check activity of Historian
• Monitor daily backup routine.

Safety

• Adhere to all HSE recommended safety procedures/protocols and departmental guidelines

SAP PM Module Utilization

• Create Corrective and Preventive Work Orders of performed maintenance/scheduled work
• Closure of SAP-PM notification and maintenance orders
  
  

Skills & Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of Electrical, Electronics and Computer Systems
• Basic knowledge of Cyber Security & Software development
• Hands on experience of Oracle DBA
• Troubleshooting of database errors
• Communication (Written, Verbal & Presentation)
• Language Proficiency (English)
• Teamwork and Collaboration
  
  

Education & Relevant Experience

• 1-3 years relevant experience of Oracle Database administration.
• B.E Electronics / Electrical / Computer / Software / Information Technology / Graduation + Database Certification
