Job Purpose
This role is responsible for maintaining product parameter configurations across Trade Finance and Open Account systems, ensuring smooth end to end processing and workflow stability. The candidate will handle parameter updates, troubleshoot system issues, and coordinate with business and technology teams to ensure timely resolution. The role also provides techno functional support to internal stakeholders, delivering consistent service within agreed SLAs.
Key Result Areas
• Strong working knowledge of Trade Finance systems, preferably Oracle OBTF/OBP (hands‑on experience preferred).
• Support configuration activities, including parameter updates, workflow changes, and charge setups.
• Ability to run basic SQL queries to validate data, check parameters, and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist in resolving L1/L2 parameter configuration‑related issues.
• Capture logs, raise tickets, and follow up with IT/Oracle support teams.
• Conduct post‑change sanity checks and validations.
• Prepare and execute test cases related to parameterization or minor enhancements.
• Participate in UAT cycles and document results and test evidence.
• Awareness of audit requirements, security controls, and change management processes.
• Basic understanding of SWIFT message formats and payment flows.
• Exposure to ITIL, SDLC, and controlled management procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Basic understanding of Trade Finance products (LCs, Guarantees, Collections, Bills) and familiarity with Open Account/SCF.
• 3–5 years’ experience in Trade Finance operations, OAF, and product parameter setup/maintenance.
• Awareness of SWIFT and domestic payment clearing schemes.
• Ability to support requirement gathering, impact analysis, and configuration updates.
• Experience preparing SOPs, parameter logs, and system documentation.
• Ability to execute basic test cases, sanity checks, and support UAT.
• Strong coordination skills with Operations, Technology, QA, and business teams.
• Good analytical, problem‑solving, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
