Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for Canadian clients,
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis,
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely,
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure their accuracy and integrity,
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures,
• Prepare various financial analyses and summaries as required by management,
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries,
• Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations, especially those pertinent to Canadian operations
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with local and international stakeholders,
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for various accounting tasks,
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting,
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines,
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and strong analytical skills,
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial documentation
