Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for Canadian clients,
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a regular basis,
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely,
- Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure their accuracy and integrity,
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures,
- Prepare various financial analyses and summaries as required by management,
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries,
- Stay updated on relevant accounting standards and regulations, especially those pertinent to Canadian operations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with local and international stakeholders,
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) for various accounting tasks,
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting,
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple deadlines,
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and strong analytical skills,
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to accuracy in all financial documentation
