Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), Peshawar, is seeking an Associate Consultant Kidney Transplant Surgeon on a contract basis. The selected candidate will assist senior transplant surgeons, participate in renal transplant surgeries, manage pre- and post-operative care, and contribute to the development of transplant services. This role is ideal for mid-career specialists with solid experience in urologic surgery and transplant procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kidney transplant surgeries and related surgical procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-operative patient care.
• Evaluate transplant patients and coordinate treatment plans.
• Support senior consultants in managing the transplant unit.
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards, hospital protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Participate in academic activities, training, and departmental meetings.
  
  

Requirements

• MBBS from a recognized medical institution.
• FCPS (Urology) OR Board Certified OR CCST (UK/Ireland).
• Minimum 7 years post-qualification experience in the relevant field of urology/transplant surgery.
• Strong surgical skills and understanding of renal transplant procedures.
• Excellent teamwork and patient-care abilities.
