Job Description Position SummaryThe Analyst \Sr. Analyst HRIS, Workday Absence & Time Tracking position is responsible for supporting, extending, and improving operational efficiencies within Human Resources. They will lead, as a thought partner, for customer groups, advise on business requirements, data presentation, and support decision making. This position will directly interact with other members of the HRS group, senior global HR leadership, as well as other senior business leadership across the supported footprint.
This position will be required to be onsite.
Responsibilities
- 3+ years of experience in Workday Absence and Time Tracking.
- Hands on Experience in HCM Core, Absence, Time Tracking module, calculated field and strong technical skill in workday Absence and Time Tracking and has ability to build complex Accruals, Time off Eligibility.
- Strong in creating condition rules in Business Process Definitions as per the business request and prepare Test Cases, test Plan and conduct manual testing on each release
- Good understanding on policy and configuring required leave types, made use of calculated fields for entitlement units and good knowledge on concepts like leave type segment security, maintain time off transfer balance units. and Configuring alert messages, Worklets, Delegation, Custom Notification setup, and setup survey in workday.
- In-depth knowledge of Absence Eligibility rules, Time Off plans, Accruals, Time off, accruals defaulting, and Business processes as required.
- Experience in transforming business requirements into complex system configurations.
- Analyses large HR data loads to ensure accurate data transfer
- Provides training and assistance utilizing Workday Community and other supported applications as well as guidance on Workday process best practices to the HR Service Operations team
- Collaborates with business users to implement process upgrades and system enhancements, leads testing and data validations, maintains data integrity, and ensures that overall system performance is aligned with business objectives
- Understanding of Enterprise Interface Builder (EIBs), integrations, and calculated fields as well as being proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Support & document new functionality that is set up for Brookfield (Workday Releases R1\R2)
Bachelor’s degree required or minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Workday Absences, Time Tracking and HCM is required.
Preferred Time zone to crossover with US and Canada Team
Ability to work well in structured and unstructured environments, under pressure, and with changing and competing priorities and timelines Possession of excellent consultative, organization, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Customer service oriented with a demonstrated desire to collaborate and deliver excellent service to internal customers and can work effectively in a global team setting
