Our client Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited is looking for a CAD Officer - Islamic Documentation and Review in Karachi

In this role at Habib Metropolitan Bank Limited, the CAD Officer will be responsible for maintaining and updating critical documentation records, including deferral Management Information Systems (MIS) within the CAD-Module. The officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring that all collateral is correctly captured and documented, thereby enabling the bank to manage risk effectively. The Responsibilities

include the timely submission of all periodic MIS reports to business units, scrutinizing stock reports and insurance policies in conjunction with Personal Property Registration (PPR), and upholding the standards of documentation in line with Islamic finance principles. Accuracy, strong attention to detail, and adherence to regulatory requirements are essential to success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare Islamic credit documentation to ensure compliance with bank policies and Islamic finance principles.
• Scrutinize legal documents related to credit approvals, collateral security, and insurance policies.
• Ensure accurate and thorough collateral capturing, including analysis and documentation of collateral security and related records.
• Maintain, update, and manage Deferral MIS in the CAD module for efficient reporting and document tracking.
• Analyze and verify stock reports and insurance policies alongside Personal Property Registration documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Deliver timely and precise submission of all periodic Management Information System (MIS) reports to relevant business units.
• Apply comprehensive knowledge of banking policies, guidelines, and credit documentation processes to support effective loan processing.
• Utilize MS Office applications to prepare, organize, and maintain documentation and reports.
• Coordinate documentation activities to facilitate seamless credit approvals and disbursal processes.
• Identify documentation discrepancies, report findings, and recommend corrective actions to enhance documentation quality and compliance.
• Maintain detailed records of document reviews and updates to support audits and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify documentation requirements and address queries related to Islamic financing and credit documentation.
