Your Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash and payment collection from couriers, ensuring accurate counting, verification, and reconciliation against system records.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding customer payments and follow up with couriers to meet approved collection timelines.
• Receive and process payments, including cash, cheques, and pay orders, from relevant internal stakeholders and ensure accurate documentation.
• Reconcile daily collections, investigate discrepancies, and resolve payment-related issues promptly in coordination with the concerned teams.
• Ensure the timely handover of daily cash collections for bank deposits and forward cheques, pay orders, and payment details to Finance.
• Maintain accurate payment records, prepare daily collection reports, and ensure timely submission of required documentation to Finance.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Commercial, Administration, and IT to resolve payment discrepancies and address system-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with DHL policies, standard operating procedures, cash-handling protocols, and information security requirements.
• Maintain the security and integrity of cash collections and ensure adherence to established safety and security procedures.
• Identify opportunities to improve cash collection efficiency, reconciliation accuracy, and payment processing procedures.
  
  
  

YOUR PROFILE

• Must possess at least a graduate degree, preferably in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Must have 2–3 years of relevant experience in cash handling, payment processing, cashier operations, or financial administration.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and reconciliation skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of cash management, payment documentation, and basic financial controls.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Outlook, with the ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet strict daily deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and discretion when handling financial transactions and confidential information.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, resolve routine issues, and work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
