Our client Confidential is looking for a Chief Financial Officer in Islamabad

We are an established restaurant and food group seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead our finance function and partner with the CEO and Board. You will own budgeting, forecasting, reporting, treasury, tax, audit, and compliance across all outlets while tracking food cost, labor cost, wastage, and outlet-level profitability. You will also manage cash flow, evaluate expansion and investment opportunities, strengthen inventory and procurement controls, and lead the finance team. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with a professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) and has 8-10 years of progressive experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or food-related group

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals and the restaurant industry's unique requirements.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support business decisions.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements adhering to regulatory standards.
• Monitor cash flow, optimize financial resources, and manage capital investment to enhance profitability.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, risk management frameworks, and financial policies.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals to achieve department and organizational objectives.
• Collaborate with operational leaders to evaluate financial performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, restaurant-specific accounting standards, and tax requirements.
• Drive cost management initiatives and efficiency improvements in financial processes.
• Support external audits and coordinate with regulatory agencies as needed.
