Job Overview
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with experience in Technical Support, System Administration, and Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, strong troubleshooting skills, basic automation knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Location: NASTP, Cantt, Lahore.
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with experience in Technical Support, System Administration, and Cloud Operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure, strong troubleshooting skills, basic automation knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud infrastructure, alerts, dashboards, and ticketing systems to identify and resolve incidents.
- Provide L1 support for AWS and Azure environments, including incident triage, troubleshooting, escalation, and resolution.
- Perform system administration tasks such as user management, access control, patching, backups, and server health monitoring.
- Coordinate incidents with Infrastructure and Development teams while ensuring SLA compliance.
- Support cloud deployments, maintenance activities, and operational changes.
- Develop and maintain basic automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Create and update SOPs, runbooks, and technical documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements to monitoring, automation, and operational processes.
- Maintain accurate incident records and provide timely communication to technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in Cloud Support, Technical Support, or System Administration.
- Hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure.
- Good knowledge of Windows/Linux administration and networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN).
- Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
- Basic scripting/automation experience using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- AWS or Azure certifications are an added advantage.
