About the Role
We are looking for a highly energetic, relationship-driven, and execution-focused Community & Partnerships Manager who will own Edversity's community, university engagement, ambassador programs, events, and ecosystem partnerships.
This is not a traditional community management role focused only on managing groups or posting announcements.
You will be expected to build relationships, activate universities, create memorable events, develop partnerships, recruit and manage ambassadors, and turn the Edversity community into a powerful engine for growth, engagement, and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
Community Building
- Build and grow a highly engaged community of Edversity students, alumni, professionals, instructors, and technology enthusiasts.
- Develop initiatives that encourage members to participate, collaborate, network, and contribute to the community.
- Create strong relationships with high-potential students, community leaders, professionals, founders, and industry experts.
- Turn students and alumni into active advocates and representatives of Edversity.
- Continuously identify new ways to increase community engagement, retention, referrals, and participation.
- Build and manage the Edversity University Ambassador Program across leading universities.
- Identify, recruit, onboard, train, and manage high-performing university ambassadors.
- Develop ambassador campaigns, incentives, targets, activities, and recognition programs.
- Build relationships with university societies, student clubs, faculty members, career offices, and university leadership.
- Create a scalable model for expanding Edversity's presence across universities nationwide.
- Plan and execute high-quality events including workshops, meetups, seminars, hackathons, demo sessions, networking events, university activations, and community gatherings.
- Manage the complete event lifecycle, from concept and partnerships to promotion, execution, and post-event engagement.
- Identify speakers, trainers, partners, communities, and collaborators for events.
- Ensure every event creates measurable value for participants as well as Edversity.
- Develop flagship community events that strengthen Edversity's position within the technology ecosystem.
- Identify and develop partnerships with universities, technology companies, student societies, incubators, accelerators, communities, industry associations, and other relevant organizations.
- Initiate outreach, meetings, proposals, negotiations, and partnership discussions.
- Develop mutually beneficial collaborations around education, events, talent, community, hiring, and technology initiatives.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing partners and continuously identify opportunities to expand those relationships.
- Work closely with Edversity leadership on strategic partnerships and ecosystem development.
- Work closely with marketing, sales, academics, and leadership teams to convert community activities into measurable business outcomes.
- Generate qualified leads and program interest through community initiatives, partnerships, ambassadors, and events.
- Support program launches through university and community activation.
- Build systems, processes, and playbooks that allow community and partnerships initiatives to scale.
- 2 to 4 years of experience in community building, partnerships, university relations, events, business development, startup ecosystems, or a related role.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to network and build relationships with people at different levels.
- Experience organizing and executing events, campaigns, or community initiatives.
- Ability to independently approach universities, organizations, and potential partners.
- Strong ownership mentality with the ability to take an idea from concept to execution.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously while maintaining high execution quality.
- Led a university society, student organization, ambassador program, or professional community.
- Built partnerships with universities, technology companies, startups, or ecosystem organizations.
- Organized large-scale university or technology events.
- Existing relationships across universities or Pakistan's technology/startup ecosystem.
- Experience managing ambassadors, volunteers, interns, or community representatives.
- Experience generating leads, registrations, or business opportunities through community initiatives.
- A strong personal network and a natural ability to connect people.
