Cost Estimation Engineer
We Are Hiring: Cost Estimation Engineer — Mechanical / Industrial
M/s EduTech Lahore is hiring a Cost Estimation Engineer for a dedicated engineering team supporting a KSA-based industrial client.
Job Location: Lake City Meadows, Lahore
Job Type: Full-time, on-siteRequirements
  • DAE Mechanical, B.Tech Mechanical or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in mechanical or industrial cost estimation.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to prepare MTOs, BOQs and detailed cost estimates.
  • Experience evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings, specifications and datasheets.
  • Experience with pressure vessels, tanks, boilers, skid packages or fabricated equipment will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review RFQs, drawings and technical specifications
  • .Prepare material take-offs, BOQs and cost estimates
  • .Estimate material, labour, fabrication, testing, packing and transportation costs
  • .Obtain and compare vendor quotations
  • .Prepare detailed costing sheets, assumptions, exclusions and risk allowances
  • .Maintain material, labour and supplier-rate databases
  • .Support value engineering and budget-versus-actual cost analysis
