The Manager of Credit Research at Agay Barho plays a pivotal role in directing research efforts that support the companys credit rating and economic evaluation functions. This position involves developing sectoral and company analyses, overseeing comprehensive report preparation, and ensuring all research aligns with evolving macroeconomic conditions. The role requires collaboration across departments and with external stakeholders to enhance research quality and maintain competitive market positioning. Candidates must possess strong analytical abilities to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively through detailed reports and presentations, while efficiently managing multiple research projects against strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Research Departments work plan for quarterly, semi-annual, and annual activities including sectoral studies, dashboards, and external assignments.
• Provide strategic leadership ensuring all research activities support organizational goals and long-term vision.
• Lead the Equity Research function by expanding sectoral and company coverage and supervising the timely delivery of data-driven research outputs.
• Review and approve sectoral reports, economic analyses, thematic studies, dashboards, and proposals to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to research standards.
• Ensure the timely preparation of key reports including Event Insights, Budget Commentary, sectoral updates, and dashboards that inform strategic decision making.
• Monitor and analyze industry and macroeconomic trends to keep the companys strategies adaptive and aligned with market changes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four research professionals, promoting a culture of analytical rigor, continuous learning, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to leverage knowledge sharing, enhance research capabilities, and strengthen the company's market position.
• Manage multiple research projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality or depth of analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards to guide research practices.
• Utilize advanced financial databases, Excel, and research tools to support comprehensive financial modeling, valuation, and risk assessment tasks.
• Communicate complex financial insights clearly and effectively in written reports and presentations to internal and external audiences.
