About the role
We are hiring a Cross-Platform App Development Instructor to teach trainees how to build Android and iOS apps from a single codebase. You will lead daily coding classes and labs and take beginners to the point of publishing their own working app.
Who you will teach
Most trainees will be fresh graduates, final-year students, people with experience in the industry and people starting out in the industry. Many will have little or no practical experience, so you will start from the basics, explain concepts in simple English and Urdu, and build their confidence step by step until they can deliver real projects.
Key responsibilities
• Deliver daily lectures and live-coding labs according to the approved curriculum
• Explain programming and app concepts step by step for trainees new to coding
• Prepare lesson plans, slides, coding exercises, assignments and quizzes
• Review trainee code and guide them through mini-projects and the final capstone
• Track attendance, assess progress and submit reports to the program team
• Run extra support sessions for trainees who fall behind
• Guide trainees on app portfolios, GitHub, freelancing and job applications
• Support assessments, audits and program reviews
Requirements
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT or a related field
• 2–4 years of professional mobile app development experience
• Strong Flutter and Dart, with at least one state management approach
• Firebase and REST API integration experience
• At least two apps published on Google Play or the App Store
• Ability to live-code, debug and explain clearly in English and Urdu
• Patience and genuine interest in teaching beginners
Preferred
• React Native or native Android (Kotlin) experience
• A freelancing track record in mobile development
• Previous teaching, training or mentoring experience
