Customer Engineer – DSPM Solutions (Non-Coding Technical Role)
About The Role
We’re seeking a technically fluent Customer Engineer to join our Engineering organization and serve as
a critical link between Engineering and Go-to-Market (GTM) teams, including Sales Engineering,
Professional Services, and Enablement.
This role is embedded within the Development organization, and focuses on helping the GTM teams
understand, configure, and support deployments of our Data Security Posture Management (DSPM)
platform. While the role is not directly customer-facing, it requires a deep understanding of the product
and underlying technologies to ensure field teams are well-supported during pre-sales and post-sales
phases.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical foundation who wants to stay close
to the technology, without being in a traditional coding role.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a technical liaison between the Engineering team and GTM teams (Sales Engineering,
deployment support they need.
- Work closely with Engineering to understand new features, deployment requirements, and
demo environments and tooling for internal teams.
- Assist in internal setup and deployment of DSPM components (Kubernetes-based microservices,
- Help develop internal technical resources such as playbooks, integration guides, architecture
- Support the Go-to-Market team with API usage, scripting (e.g., Python), and basic
- Read, interpret, and sometimes modify basic code or configuration files to help debug issues or
- Validate deployment workflows across cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and ensure
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a technical role within an engineering or product-focused
- Strong understanding of modern cloud-native stacks, including:
○ Cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
○ Data infrastructure (e.g., SQL, data lakes, data warehouses)
- Comfort with basic scripting in languages like Python or shell scripting for automating setup,
- Ability to read and understand application code (e.g., Python, YAML, or JSON configurations) to
- Strong communication skills and ability to synthesize technical concepts for internal
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with DSPM, CSPM, or adjacent data security and privacy tools.
- Prior experience in Sales Engineering enablement, solution delivery, or product support roles.
- Experience with or exposure to DevOps tools such as Helm, Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD
- Exposure to compliance or risk management concepts (e.g., SOC 2, GDPR).
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments or with distributed technical
