Customer Success Specialist

Night shift: 10:00am – 6:00pm Pacific, Tuesday to Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)

Traincrest and EzyBite build software for restaurants — their own online ordering website, so they keep their customers instead of renting them from Uber Eats and DoorDash. Our customers are independent restaurant owners across the United States and Canada. They're busy, they're not technical, and when something breaks during a Friday dinner rush it costs them real money.

We're hiring one Customer Success Specialist to look after them.

• Own a set of restaurant accounts — you'll know them by name, not by ticket number
• Keep them: spot the ones going quiet before they leave, and do something about it
• Grow them: get them using more of what we offer, because the ones who use more, stay longer
• Handle live problems on the phone, calmly, when the customer is under pressure
• Be the person who tells them the truth — including when the answer is no

This is not a ticket-closing helpdesk role. If something is wrong for a customer, it's yours until it's fixed.

The shift is fixed at 10:00am to 6:00pm Pacific time, Tuesday through Saturday. That is a night shift wherever you are:

roughly 10:00pm – 6:00am

(Shifts by an hour in winter, when North America comes off daylight saving.)

We can't flex these — it's when our customers are open. You'll also need reliable internet and power for the whole shift. Please don't apply if this doesn't work for your life; we'd far rather know now than in month two.

• Solid spoken English — clear and easy to follow on a live call
• Experience speaking with American or Canadian customers — this one really matters to us
• Real customer-facing experience: phone, chat or email, with actual volume behind it
• The judgement not to promise a customer something you can't deliver
• Comfortable being held to what you said you'd do

• Restaurant, hospitality, food delivery or POS background
• You've worked nights before and know what it does to you
• Retention, renewals, onboarding or account growth in a previous role
