Data Architect Location: Hyderabad Work Mode: Hybrid Experience: 10+ Years About the Role P99Soft Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced and highly driven Data Architect to join our growing data engineering team. We are seeking a candidate with deep expertise in modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and AI-driven solutions who can lead the design and implementation of scalable enterprise data architectures Role Summary We are looking for a Data Architect with 10+ years of experience to design and lead a modern enterprise data platform on Snowflake. This platform will be built around Data as a Product and Analytics as a Product, and must support BI-ready, AI-ready.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, Snowflake, data governance, semantic design, and modern data platform tooling, including strong familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Alation, and Snowflake Cortex. The role requires both strategic architecture leadership and practical implementation guidance across product design, transformation patterns, metadata, lineage, orchestration, governance, certified metrics, and AI-ready analytical services Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data platform design, and data modeling.
• Strong experience designing and implementing modern cloud data platforms on Snowflake.
• Strong experience with data governance, metadata standards, data lineage, access architecture, and certified semantic/metric design.
• Strong experience with dbt for modular transformation design and semantic-model or metric-layer concepts. dbt documents semantic models and the Semantic Layer as centralized ways to define and use metrics.
• Strong experience with Airflow for enterprise orchestration, workflow dependency management, and production scheduling. Apache Airflow describes DAGs as the core concept that encapsulates workflow scheduling, tasks, dependencies, and callbacks.
• Strong experience with Alation or similar enterprise catalog / metadata / lineage platforms, including governed discovery and stewardship workflows.
• Strong understanding of Snowflake Cortex capabilities and how to safely incorporate natural-language analytics, retrieval, and agentic experiences into an enterprise data platform. Snowflake documents Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, and Cortex Agents as separate but related capabilities for these use cases.
• Strong experience designing platforms that must support both BI-ready and AI-ready data assets.
