Responsibilities
• Collect, clean, and process data from various SQL data sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness,
and consistency.
• Perform data validation and quality checks to identify and resolve anomalies, errors, and
inconsistencies in data sets.
• Develop and maintain data management systems, including data dictionaries, metadata
repositories, and data documentation.
• Plan, deploy and maintain data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
(Python/NodeJS) on Linux based servers to move and transform data from various source
databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL) into the target systems.
• Design and develop data architectures, databases, and data processing systems to support the
collection, storage, and retrieval of structured and unstructured data.
• Conduct data profiling, analysis, and validation to identify data anomalies, patterns, and trends,
providing insights for business decision-making.
• Collaborate with the stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into
technical specifications, data models and visualization dashboards.
Specifications
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of experience and proficiency in data manipulation and analysis using tools such
as SQL, Excel, or scripting languages. Python or NodeJS experience would be a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Superset, Tableau or Power BI to create reports
and dashboards.
• Knowledge of database concepts, data modeling, and relational database management systems
(e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Process oriented with great documentation skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service
