Deputy Manager – Human Resources

Are you an experienced HR professional with a strong track record in the FMCG or Manufacturing sector? We are looking for a dynamic, result-driven DM– HR to lead our end-to-end employee lifecycle, drive operational excellence, and strengthen employee relations.

Role Overview

  • Position: Deputy Manager – HR
  • Department: Human Resources
  • Location: Karachi, Pakistan
  • Experience: 6 to 8 Years (FMCG / Manufacturing background required)


Core Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment, agency coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding/offboarding processes.


Payroll, Statutory & C&B Operations

  • Verify and ensure timely disbursement of monthly payroll, incentives, bonuses, and Final & Full settlements (FNF).
  • Oversee statutory payments & reconciliations including EOBI, SESSI, corporate vendors (Jazz), Tracker, and Health Insurance.


HR Policy, Compliance & Audits

  • Formulate and enforce HR policies and SOPs to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Delegate tasks to team members to seamlessly fulfill all internal and external audit requirements.


Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive organizational culture, reward & recognition programs, town halls, and engagement events.
  • Act as a direct liaison between management and employees to build a healthy work environment.


Employee Relations, L&D & HR Tech

  • Handle grievance management, conflict resolution, counseling, and exit interviews to analyze turnover metrics.
  • Manage training & development initiatives, university linkage programs, and update the Intranet Portal.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: MBA/MPA - HR, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Experience: 6 to 8 years of progressive HR Generalist/Operations experience in FMCG or Manufacturing.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with ATS platforms (e.g., Manatal), HRIS, and MS Office Suite.
  • Key Skills: Strong knowledge of local labor laws, vendor negotiation, conflict resolution, and leadership capabilities.
