- Regulate and monitor day to day taxation matters including quarterly and annual statements to FBR. Manage and coordinate all tax-related matters, with particular focus on Capital Gains Tax (CGT) applicable to securities transactions. Liaise and communicate with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on CGT, tax computation, collection, reporting, clarification, and other taxation-related matters. Communicating/Dealing with FBR/SECP/FIA/Wafaqi Mohtasib etc. Prepare and submit responses, explanations, clarifications, and supporting information against queries/notices received from FBR. Draft official letters, replies, explanations, and representations to government departments and regulatory authorities. Handle and respond to investor queries and complaints relating to CGT matters. Coordinate with relevant internal departments, AMCs, brokers, PMEX, investors, and other stakeholders to investigate and resolve CGT-related discrepancies and queries. Perform any other tax, regulatory, or government liaison responsibilities assigned by management. Comply with ISMS policies and procedures including any other requirements set forth considering contractual, legal and regulatory needs of the company. To ensure compliance of Information Security, Business Continuity and Quality Management system policies & procedures and actively participate in internal and external audits as per their roles and responsibilities.
