- Solid networking fundamentals including DNS, load balancing, SSL/TLS, and reverse proxies
- Strong Git/GitHub discipline and collaborative development workflows
- Experience automating infrastructure and operational tasks using Bash, Python, or Go
- Understanding of system reliability, scalability, backup, and disaster recovery principles
- Familiarity with security best practices for cloud and infrastructure environments
A deployed project is required:
You must be able to share at least one production infrastructure architecture diagram (cloud architecture, CI/CD pipeline, Kubernetes cluster, monitoring stack, or equivalent) that:
- Was used by real users or production workloads
- Can be explained clearly: what problem it solved and the scale it handled
Nice to Have
- Kubernetes ecosystem tooling (Helm, ArgoCD, Istio, Linkerd)
- Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and incident response experience
- Secrets management tools (Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Doppler, etc.)
- Experience with serverless infrastructure and event-driven architectures
- Cloud security and compliance exposure
- Performance tuning and infrastructure cost optimisation
- Experience managing databases and caching systems in production
- Knowledge of distributed systems and high-availability architecture
