Details

Lead the English and School Education portfolio in Pakistan, overseeing programmes that strengthen teaching and learning, promote gender equity, and deliver sustainable impact across formal and non-formal education systems. This role includes strategic leadership, business development, stakeholder engagement, team management, and ensuring alignment with global corporate strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Translate global strategies into high-impact, profitable local programmes.
  • Lead business planning, target-setting, and performance monitoring.
  • Inspire and manage geographically dispersed teams.
  • Oversee programme implementation and ensure quality standards.
  • Lead bids/proposals and negotiate strategic partnerships.
  • Engage with government, donors, and international partners.
  • Provide technical expertise, policy advice, and thought leadership.
  • Ensure commercial and financial governance, including KPI tracking.
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion in all operations.

Requirements

  • Proven leadership in education programme delivery, preferably in Pakistan.
  • Experience in designing and managing English or school education programmes.
  • Track record of leading proposals for international development programmes.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with ministries, donors, and partners.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in education.
  • Ability to lead medium to large teams to achieve results.
  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in an education-related field.
  • English proficiency (C1 Level).

Desirable

  • Master’s in ELT, Educational Technology, Education and International Development, or similar.
  • English teaching qualification.
  • Project management qualification.
  • Experience in teacher education and online learning programmes.
  • Knowledge of language-in-education policies.
