Role

Our Software Services Leadership is responsible for driving delivery excellence across a portfolio of client engagements while strengthening delivery maturity, predictability, and leadership depth. The role serves as a senior escalation point, coaches project and delivery leaders, and ensures consistent, high-quality execution aligned with client expectations and business outcomes. The DSS operates across multiple delivery models (Agile, hybrid, and plan-driven) and plays a key role in advancing modern, AI-enabled delivery practices at 10Pearls.

Responsibilities

  • Own delivery health across multiple accounts, ensuring predictable outcomes related to scope, timelines, quality, risks, and execution.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for delivery, client, and people-related challenges, providing clear direction and driving timely resolution.
  • Ensure strong end-to-end execution discipline from project initiation through closure.
  • Establish, reinforce, and continuously improve delivery governance, including planning discipline, RAID management, and execution rigor.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks, remove blockers, and course-correct engagements that deviate from plan.
  • Balance client expectations with delivery realities by guiding teams on scope, timelines, quality, and execution trade-offs.
  • Coach and develop Project Managers, Delivery Managers, and delivery leaders to strengthen ownership, decision-making, and delivery maturity.
  • Contribute to performance management activities, including appraisals, promotion recommendations, succession planning, and performance improvement plans.
  • Participate in senior hiring decisions, including final interviews for delivery and project management roles.
  • Monitor portfolio performance using key delivery and business KPIs such as delivery health, utilization, margins, and client satisfaction.
  • Partner with account and sales leadership to support client trust, retention, and account growth.
  • Represent delivery leadership in client discussions, escalations, and strategic forums when required.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies in delivery workflows and supporting simplification, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Architecture, Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product) to ensure strong end-to-end delivery outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s / MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 12–16 years of overall experience in technology services or software delivery.
  • 6–10 years of leadership experience managing Project Managers, Delivery Managers, or program-level delivery teams.
  • Proven experience handling multiple concurrent engagements and senior client stakeholders.
  • Strong experience across Agile, hybrid, and plan-driven delivery models.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivery governance, client escalations, risk management, and execution oversight.
  • Solid commercial and business understanding, including utilization, margins, and sustainable growth.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A mindset focused on ownership, continuous improvement, and modern delivery practices, including AI-enabled workflows.
