About This Role.
As a Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into system solutions, and ensure successful delivery across finance, supply chain, and operations modules.
Responsibilities
As a Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into system solutions, and ensure successful delivery across finance, supply chain, and operations modules.
Responsibilities
- Engage with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate business processes into functional solutions within D365 F&O.
- Lead or support end-to-end implementations, upgrades, or enhancements.
- Configure and customize modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Inventory, and Manufacturing.
- Collaborate with technical teams for integrations, custom developments, and data migration.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and training sessions.
- Provide post-implementation support and continuous improvement recommendations.
- Work with tools like Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps for project delivery and tracking.
- Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Deep understanding of functional areas such as Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets), Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, and Agile projects.
- Experience in end-to-end D365 F&O implementation projects.
- Ability to map business processes and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Familiarity with integrations, data migration, and reporting tools.
- Understanding of LCS, DevOps, and implementation methodologies.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and stakeholder management.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of professional experience as a Dynamics 365 F&O Consultant or in a similar functional/implementation role.
