EdTech Product Manager/Specialist

Role Overview:

The EdTech Product Specialist serves as the CEO’s operational right hand and cross-functional team lead. This role oversees the internal design studio floor, manages project velocity across pedagogy, design, and animation, and acts as the sole technical bridge to external software development partners (LibXR). The specialist manages daily studio operations to ensure uninterrupted, on-schedule app delivery while filtering issues so the CEO only reviews fully vetted milestone packages.

• Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Compensation Structure:
• During Probation (Months 1–3): PKR 100,000 Gross (Base: PKR 80,000 | Travel Allowance: PKR 20,000)
• Permanent Confirmation: PKR 125,000 Gross (Base: PKR 100,000 | Travel Allowance: PKR 25,000)
• Reporting Cadence: Reports directly to the CEO

Candidate Qualifications & Competencies

• Domain Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven product management experience in mobile apps, EdTech platforms, digital games, or children’s e-learning products.
• Team Leadership: Experience managing cross-functional creative teams (Academic Lead, Product Designer, AI Animator).
• Technical Partner Management: Demonstrated track record translating creative concepts into developer specifications, managing external engineering agencies/vendors, and running bug-tracking workflows via Asana or Jira.
• Operational Discipline: High attention to detail, strict adherence to deadlines, proactive problem-solving, and executive composure.

Core Responsibilities

1. Internal Studio Management & Team Leadership (40% Workload)

• Direct Team Oversight: Manage the day-to-day workflow, deadlines, and task queues of the Academic Lead, Product Designer, and AI Animator.
• Studio Floor Operations: Run the internal design room so work continues seamlessly regardless of whether the CEO is on-site. Resolve internal bottlenecks, creative misalignments, or inter-team friction before they escalate.
• Milestone Quality Gatekeeping: Conduct internal milestone reviews for both core product tracks:
• Track A (Pedagogy & Animation): Review learning objectives, scripts, voiceovers, and finished animated episodes.
• Track B (App & Interaction): Review UI/UX screens, asset exports, and interactive game mechanics.
• Executive Presentation: Present completed milestones to the CEO for final sign-off only after assets have cleared internal quality standards.

2. Technical Bridge to Engineering Partners (LibXR) (35% Workload)

• Sole Communication Channel: Act as the primary, structured operational interface between Chiragh and the external development partner (LibXR), eliminating unvetted requests and conflicting directives.
• Scope & Sprint Governance: Translate CEO-approved designs, mechanics, and learning outcomes into clear, technical Asana tickets and milestone scopes with complete asset handoffs.
• Build Verification & QA: Conduct structured quality assurance on incoming builds, compile organized error/feedback logs, and verify bug fixes prior to CEO review.

3. Executive Reporting Cadence (15% Workload)

• Bi-Weekly CEO Check-ins:
• Monday Morning: Outline weekly sprint objectives, deliverable targets, and team allocations.
• Friday Afternoon: Review completed milestones, identify roadblocks, and document items carried forward.
• Maintain clean, transparent project status boards on Asana and shared documentation in Google Drive.

4. Office Stewardship & Operational Support (10% Workload)

• Studio Floor Custodianship: Support administrative office routines, including opening/locking up the workspace premises as required.
• Attendance & Punctuality Tracking: Monitor studio attendance and maintain accurate records of late arrivals and emergency leave compliance.
• Supply & Resource Monitoring: Track office consumables, stationary, and operational supplies, proactively flagging replenishment needs to the CEO before stock runs out.
