About Us Siddique Ice & Cold Storage operates an ammonia-based refrigeration plant in Islamabad, Pakistan. We specialize in cold storage, block ice manufacturing, and in-house engineering services. Our team supports a diverse set of industrial operations, combining reliability with innovation.

Position

  • Job Title: Electrical & Automation Technician
  • Location: Islamabad, Pakistan (On-site with residence)
  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with every other weekend off

Key Responsibilities

  • Industrial communications wiring: RS485/Modbus, Ethernet, terminations, shielding, termination resistors
  • Field instrumentation: install, wire, and calibrate sensors, transmitters, RTDs, thermocouples, 4–20 mA loops
  • Diagnose and resolve control system faults independently, with minimal supervision
  • Perform field electrical work including installation, maintenance, and repair of wiring, panels, motors, starters, VFDs, and switchgear
  • Carry out routine preventive maintenance on electrical and control equipment
  • Support instrumentation tasks including sensors, transmitters, and control loops
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and maintain accurate equipment logs

Requirements

  • DAE in Electrical Power, Instrumentation, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of industrial electrical field experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and P&IDs
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to fault diagnosis
