Vivo Pakistan seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer with expertise in Electrical Engineering to ensure the continuous operation and reliability of electrical systems and equipment. The successful candidate plays a vital role in maintaining the companys operational efficiency by performing preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnosing electrical faults, and resolving issues promptly. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional committed to safety standards and minimizing equipment downtime. The Maintenance Engineer works closely with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors, offering clear communication and excellent customer service.

Though this role does not involve managing a team, it demands strong troubleshooting abilities, effective use of maintenance management systems, and the capacity to support smooth production processes through consistent maintenance activities. The engineer frequently interacts with customers, addressing technical queries and ensuring timely resolution of problems to uphold service excellence and business satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults promptly using systematic approaches and technical knowledge.
• Utilize maintenance management systems to record maintenance schedules, track work progress, and report issues.
• Maintain effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure service satisfaction and timely issue resolution.
• Receive and handle mobile phones sent by customers or distributors for repair, maintaining clear and consistent updates.
• Study specialized materials and guidance documents related to mobile phone maintenance and repair to enhance technical expertise.
• Respond professionally and accurately to customer inquiries and technical questions.
• Collaborate with management by assisting in task completion and providing feedback on operational issues to improve performance.
• Provide support by filling in for service consultants when they are busy or absent, ensuring continuity of service.
• Adhere strictly to safety standards and company policies while performing maintenance activities to secure a safe work environment.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance work, including faults identified, actions taken, and outcomes achieved.
• Continuously evaluate equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules based on equipment condition and historical data.
• Assist in managing relationships with clients and vendors to ensure smooth operations and prompt resolution of technical problems.
• Complete other tasks assigned by the Director to support overall department goals and company operations.
