Electrician

Our client Aston Energy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician to join our team in this permanent, full-time role. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in various environments.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately complete installations and repairs.
• Install electrical panels, conduits, and associated components according to code and project specifications.
• Perform voltage testing and other diagnostic procedures to ensure system integrity and safety.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Utilize a variety of hand and power tools, including multimeters and soldering equipment, effectively and safely.

Required Qualifications

Experience & Education

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar electrical role.

Skills & Abilities

• Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuit troubleshooting, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with panel installation, conduit bending, and voltage testing.
• Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and best practices.
• Competence in using multimeters, soldering equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to effectively relay information and collaborate with colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with specific types of electrical systems or industry-specific applications may be advantageous.
