HLS Worldwide is seeking a skilled Electronics Repair Technician with at least two years of experience in electronics repair and troubleshooting to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electronic components and circuits and demonstrate excellent soldering skills. This role requires the ability to diagnose, repair, and test a wide range of electronic devices and printed circuit boards (PCBs) efficiently and independently. The technician will play a vital role in maintaining the high quality and reliability standards of our electronic products.

The Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for performing detailed inspections of electronic components and systems, troubleshooting faults, and conducting repairs using advanced techniques such as surface-mount technology soldering. Working with minimal supervision, the technician will ensure that repaired devices meet technical specifications and comply with industry standards. The position calls for a methodical approach to testing and circuit analysis, with strong attention to detail and safety practices. A technical diploma or comparable hands-on experience in electronics repair is preferred to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and diagnosis of electronic circuit faults using multimeters and other testing equipment.
• Repair and restore electronic devices and circuit boards by soldering, desoldering, and replacing components using SMT and through-hole techniques.
• Test and analyze electronic components and circuits to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications and operational standards.
• Interpret circuit schematics and technical diagrams to guide repair and maintenance operations.
• Conduct thorough inspections of circuit boards and electronic assemblies to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Maintain repair logs and documentation detailing work performed and parts used.
• Use circuit analysis techniques to identify electrical issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Work independently to prioritize and complete repair tasks within set timeframes while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent damage and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Continuously update knowledge on the latest repair technologies, equipment, and electronic components.
• Collaborate with other technical teams when necessary to resolve complex repair challenges.
