Work Model: On-Site (Monday to Saturday, 9am – 6pm)

Role Snapshot
The Digitizer is responsible for creating accurate, production-ready embroidery punch files that meet design, quality, and customer requirements. This role collaborates closely with the Design, Sampling, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure embroidery files are technically optimized, visually appealing, and delivered within agreed timelines. The Digitizer plays a key role in minimizing thread consumption, reducing machine downtime, and ensuring smooth embroidery production through efficient digitizing, quality control, and continuous process improvement.
A Glimpse Into Your Regular Day:
- Convert Photoshop, AI, and other designer files into DST, PES, or machine-specific embroidery formats using software like Wilcom.
- Adjust stitch types, density, underlay, pull compensation, and sequence to prevent puckering, thread breaks, and distortion on different fabrics.
- Modify digitizing based on fabric type - chiffon, cotton, Pima, denim, etc.
- Run test samples, check stitch quality, and make corrections before bulk production
- Work with designers, production, and embroidery floor to finalize designs within lead time.
- Maintain a library of digitized designs and version control for re-orders.
- Provide guidance to machine operators on thread colors, sequencing, and machine settings.
What You Are Expected to Bring to the Table:
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Any technical certification will be an added advantage.
- Computer Skills: MS Excel, Word, Power Point.
- Good Communication skills.
- Ability to work under strict timelines.
- Experience of Eastern Ready to Wear Companies will be a plus.
- Experience of organizations dealing with Exports will be a plus.
- Strong grip over Processes and Reporting is esse
