ENGINEER, PLANNING - (DAR ENGINEERING - LAHORE)

Job Description:

• Prepare and monitor project schedules for respective projects.
• Prepare quarterly resource planning.
• Overseeing progress meetings. Ensure that all relevant project data is updated and available during the meetings. Follow up with concerned section managers/ engineers on meeting minutes for its compliance.

Manage following activities on SAP:

• Preparing, monitoring & controlling of DAR assets budget.
• Creation of quotation for new project.
• Sales order for all invoices.
• Creation of all new project with approved budget.
• Invoice printing as per client requirement.
• Monitoring & controlling budget. Report to the management on the status of project budget.
• Prompt the management and project team on budget utilization and provide advance alarm when budget utilization reaches 80%.
• Prompt project team to present actual plans to management for remaining job completion on budget reaching 90%. Lock the WBS and release it on receiving approval from Engineering Manager or Manager, T&D/ Generation.

Skills Requirement:

• Planning and project management skills.
• Analytical and logical; IT and mathematical ability for interpreting figures and statistics.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, MS Project, Primavera, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Adobe Acrobat Pro etc
• Excellent communication skills; Good command over English – Reading, writing & speaking. Acquaintance to Arabic and other major languages would be an advantage.

Knowledge and Experience:

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in a lead role of Planning with a Consultant organization.
• A relevant degree in engineering or architecture with professional certifications – preferably PMP and Primavera (or equivalent)
