Major Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance fixed Assets Register (FAR) Management of company assets in Oracle Fixed Assets Module with all respect with complete lifecycle of fixed assets from acquisition to disposal & Asset Transfers, Addition, Reclassifications, Disposal, Retirement and write-offs.
  • Support CAPEX management, CWIP monitoring, vendor advance tracking, asset verification, and month-end closing activities.
  • Review vendor invoices, GRNs, project completion certificates, and supporting documents for capitalization.
  • Ensure proper asset classification and depreciation setup.
  • Periodic and annual physical verification of assets by coordinating verification exercises across all company locations. Maintain asset tagging controls.
  • Ensure all capitalized assets are tagged with unique identification numbers and coordinate asset tagging activities at all locations.
  • Review GRNs, project completion certificates, and supporting documents for capitalization.
  • Capitalize assets in Oracle Financials in accordance with accounting policies Execute monthly depreciation process through Oracle.
  • Execute depreciation runs and validate results. Verify accuracy of depreciation calculations. Prepare monthly & periodic depreciation schedules like financial and tax depreciation.
  • Complete all Fixed Asset month-end closing activities within reporting timelines. Computation and preparation schedules of Deferred tax monthly and periodically.
  • Support year-end financial statement preparation and audit requirements.
  • Ensure timely closure of all FA-related accounting and reporting activities.
  • Support internal and external audits relating to Fixed Assets, CAPEX, CWIP, and Vendor Advances.
  • Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Respond to audit queries and information requests. Ensure timely closure of audit findings.

Requirements

  • Part-qualified ACCA, ACMA, CA Inter, MBA/BBA, or bachelor’s in finance/accounting.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in Fixed Assets Accounting, CAPEX Accounting or Finanical Reporting
  • Hands-on Oracle ERP (Fixed Assets & GL Ledgers).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
