We’re looking for a creative and social-media-savvy Executive – Social Media & Community Engagement to help grow Bykea’s online community and brand presence through engaging content, conversations, trends, and community stories.
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with users across Bykea’s social media platforms.
- Manage and respond to comments, messages, and customer queries in a timely and engaging manner.
- Monitor conversations and identify opportunities to interact with and build our online community.
- Stay on top of social media trends, memes, viral content, and emerging formats.
- Be confident and comfortable appearing on camera for reels, stories, and other social content.
- Bring humour, creativity, personality, and authenticity to Bykea’s social presence.
- Independently create and edit simple reels and short-form videos using tools such as CapCut and Canva.
- Develop creative content ideas based on trending formats and relevant conversations.
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and other relevant tools for content ideation, copywriting, research, and creative development.
- Monitor social media performance and share insights on audience engagement and content performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a relevant field.
- 1–2 years of experience in social media, community management, content creation, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, memes, and online communities.
- Excellent communication skills with a natural, engaging, and conversational tone.
- Confident and comfortable on camera.
- Ability to independently create and edit basic reels using CapCut, Canva, or similar tools.
- Creative, energetic, and willing to experiment with new content formats.
- Comfortable using AI tools for content creation and ideation.
- Experience creating reels or short-form content is a plus.
- A strong personal social media presence or content portfolio is a plus
