Crescent Bahuman Limited seeks a highly skilled and experienced Head of Fabric Inspection / Grading to lead and oversee the fabric inspection and grading operations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Textile Engineering and brings at least 12 years of relevant industry experience. This position requires ownership of the entire inspection process, focusing on denim and non-denim fabrics, ensuring every finished fabric piece undergoes rigorous quality checks aligned with established standards. The role includes managing a dedicated team of 10 inspectors, driving productivity, and maintaining departmental key performance indicators to uphold and exceed quality benchmarks.

This leadership position demands deep expertise in fabric quality parameters such as the 4-Point Inspection System, fabric defects, shade variation, GSM, skew, and bow. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the fabric inspection and grading department, ensuring efficient operation and high-quality output.
- Supervise the inspection and grading processes for both denim and non-denim fabrics, guaranteeing 100% inspection compliance.
- Enforce quality standards by meticulously identifying fabric defects, shade variations, skew, bow, and inconsistencies in GSM.
- Conduct thorough defect analysis and develop corrective actions to minimize fabric quality issues.
- Manage the inspection team of 10 members, optimizing inspector productivity and tracking departmental key performance indicators.
- Collaborate closely with Production and Technical teams to promptly resolve fabric quality concerns and enhance process workflows.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on fabric quality enhancement, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and maintain expertise in fabric inspection methods.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of inspection outcomes, compliance audits, and quality improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends, quality standards, and technological advancements relevant to fabric inspection and grading.
